Janome that was handed down from China during the Heian period. The Maiko, that of a girl in front of minors (about 15-year-old to 20-year-old) to become a geisha. About one year until the maiko is referred to as a "charge", and a joint life with the seniors, dance and manners, perform training, such as dressing of kimono, it will debut as a maiko. About five years as a maiko, dance and shamisen, Upon completion of the training, such as entertainment at the festival music and parlor, will be geisha through the ritual of "Erikae".
